The active substance diclofenac sodium be-longs to the drugs, which attenuating creation of prostaglandins and other inflammation mediators by inhibition of the cyclooxygenase enzyme. The UNICLOPHEN 0.1% product administered before cataract surgery decreases miosis activated by a surgery intervention, and after microsurgical or laser-surgery interventions it affects preven-tively against edema of the central retina.
