INFRACYANINE 25 mg

Iodine-free Indocyanin Green: 25 mg per vial for intravenous injection; Box of 1 vial & 1 ampoule of sterile sol-vent (10 mL of isotonic dextrose solution). INFRACYANINE® 25 mg (iodine-free I.C.G.) is a fluorescent molecu-le used in medical imaging in ophthalmology and diagnosis in hepatology and cardiology. INFRACYANINE® 25 mg is an iodine-free indicator dye; therefore it can be injected to patients allergic to iodine. The fluorescent pro-perties of INFRACYANINE® 25 mg make it very helpful in ophthalmology, to provide visualization of choroïdal blood-flow by fluorescence angiography in the examination of the retina. INFRACYANINE® 25 mg is the only substance which enables the ophthalmologist to diagnose and to treat more efficiently the age-related macular degeneration, this disease being mainly responsible for the loss of sight after 50 years old. Dosage : 25 mg (1 vial) diluted in sterile solvent given intravenously.
